    Question Which NF7 Motherboard?

    http://www.excaliberpc.com/product_i...roducts_id=867

    OR

    http://www.excaliberpc.com/product_i...roducts_id=866

I dont care about firewire or SATA... (Not sure if thats the right names) But yea I dont need those but I still heard that NF7-S has worked out more problems then the other one. Well I dont know you guys are the professionals...

    Thanks.

buy what you can afford. you may not want the SATA atm, but in a few months you might like to upgrade your hdd and the sata could come in handy

TBH the difference in price between the 2 doesn't justify going for the cheaper one, especially with the better 'Soundstorm' sound the -S version gives you.

Purely on the basis of the onboard sound I'd go with the -S. Also, I've just bumped the hard disk on mine from a 30GB UDMA 100 to an 80GB SATA Maxtor, so I'd say having SATA is probably a good idea (**** me, it's quick! ).
