Programs such as SiSoft's Sandra (free personal edition) will give you temps, also, going into the BIOS will give you processor temperature.
Motherboard Monitor is a good one. It sits in your system tray so you can constantly keep tabs on it. Plus it does voltages and whole loads of carp :)
My motherboard is not on the list of supported mobo's for mbm5Quote:

Speedfan is my fave for temp monitoring. Gives you a visible temp in the systray when minimised.
I use Speedfan, although motherboard sensors aren't always all that accurate.
I always say that its about 15 degrees each way as far as accuracy is concerned. Plus, the 'real time' updating of temperature in most motherboards is rubbish. :(
Speedfan is best - every temp can be monitored and it is as accurate as your mobo (i.e. not very). You can also check on fan speeds. Ignore everything else with an NF4 board though. Shame I can't alter the chipfan speed on my Asus, I'll have to replace the thing when I can be a*sed.
D'oh! Hope that isn't true, I'll try it later (my system is a lot like yours.)Quote:

It shows temps and has options to control fan speeds / on / off.
Of course, if the DFI documentation wasn't so useless we wouldn't have to discover these things by trial and error.
See my documnetation never even mentioned that. I have installed it now and will se how it goes.Quote:
