    Microdirect -> Biostar Barebones

    Great pieces of kit an imho better than shuttles! Better laid out, quieter and better specced and the best bit cheaper!

    I recommend a iDEQ 210P with a A64 2800+ and 512MB of their Elxir RAM. I have had one stable at 225MHz FSB that makes 2GHz overall and cost under £270 inc VAT and del!

    stupid question firelord, but is there a big performance difference betweeen the 64bit2800 and 3000, and if so could the 2800 be easyily overclocked to 3000?

    The only difference between the 3000+ and the 2800+ is clock speed. You may find that the 3000+ will prob do 2200 roughly as well so it may be slightly quicker.
