    Audigy 2ZS sounds great!!! + CMS 3!

Ok, so your all wondering what I'm talking about... To make a very long story short earlyer today I discovered theres a MediaSource 3 out there but only for audigy 4 owners! So, obviously I wanted to get my hands on it, well guess what, I did!

Take that creative! And not only am I using CMS 3 but I found these GREAT drivers as well! For the first time in a year and some months I can honestly say this thing sounds great! So, do any of you want MediaSource 3? How about a great driver? I will provide a download linky in a hour or so after I'm done uploading this giant 364 meg exe! It contains all of the creative updates and the Official creative drivers (new ones, still not on web site) and the modified drivers as well. It also includes creative mediasource 3 and all the othe apps as well...

I'm not shure if this is aloud since mediasource 3 isnt ment for audigy 2 owners... So if this isnt please delete this thread!

Edit: In the mean time more info can be found at DriverHeaven.net

    Download here...

    Suports:

SB Live (no DELL 0200 Live supported)

    Audigy(no Audigy LS supported)

    Audigy2

Audigy2 ZS (includes Gateway OEM Audigy2 ZS)

    The drivers are great.
You get options during install, e.g. to install the modded ones, or audigy4. You have second option for installing the modded ones for games or music.

It seriously sounds much better than the standard drivers.
I have never had any instability or errors with them either.

I will upload the Youp newyear 1.2 drivers only without the software as well to those that want to try drivers only later tonite.

    Cheers
(i am the one hosting them at ringstad.cc since the chinese links are seriously slow)

im not too sure what the diff are, i got the whole CMSS panel screwed up. if im not mistaken, the voices has more features and are clearer. the diff aren't huge, but significant.
thats *if* i didnt get the CMSS settings screwed up....

Floruro, what diff did u hear?

    Heya.
Basically fuller sound, with the sound being more consistant over all the frequencies without "dips" in some frequency ranges. Even e.g. in games like Counterstrike Source, all small sound details are much clearer and up front.
On my 5.1 speakers, i could also see more sound coming to the satellite speakers, actually pushing them a little more.
In general i disable all cmss, so sorry dont know about that problem.

Wow, if you don't believe these do much, listen to Aero before and after

    Thank you for the download!

[EDIT: Vordhosbn by Aphex Twin is also another great test track for the improvements in these drivers]

BTW i put up the driver only:
    http://www.ringstad.cc/pcbgfiles/Cre...ewYearv1.2.exe

Its for those that dont want/need all the software etc.
If i remember correctly you can use this driver with your current A2 software, e.g. surroundmixer etc.

I can see no discernable difference between the new software and the latest offical Audigy 2 software, I'd recommend just going for the driver only
