    Question What Case? (new kit..)

I've decided on the components.. just got to decide on a new case now .. only bought a new case/modding stuff about a month ago but I've gone off it (it doesn't cool well enough)..

    Stuff:
    A64 3200 (939), NF4 mobo w/ PC-E (haven't decided on brand yet), X850 PC-E, 2x512 TwinX Corsair, 120gig WD..

But most importantly.. what case to put it all in.. it's a tough decision..
We cannot choose what we are.. but what are we but the sum of our choices?

Personally I like the totally plain LianLi PC61 (the black one) or there new fridge style cases (lol). They're built very strong and there not tacky (this is comming from someone who has there main rig in a ThermalTake Xaser case, lol).

LianLi are.. expensive.. and the CM wavemaster looks nice but its also over £100 :| .. that bumps up what the upgrade is going to cost me considerably :/

edit: looking at pictures of the wavemaster again.. I'm so tempted though

Hmm, what about a Chieftec Dragon? They're nice cases and they're cheap!

I had a look at the Tsunami case in Micrologic, I thought it was stunning.

I can wholeheartedly reccomend teh Tsunami. The only problem is that dust sticks out like a sore thumb on it!

The Chieftec Dragon is a great case - well made, nice to work in, just heavy!

I currently have the Beantech Igloo. Again, it's well made, has a motherboard tray, is aluminium and only about £50 from http://www.komplett.co.uk.

If you want a decent case that doesn't cost much I can recommend the Cooler Master Cavalier 3 only £35 from Komplett. Not the perfect choice with the DFI NF4 motherboard because of a conflict between the sound riser card and the 120mm rear case fan. Easily solved by cutting a notch in the housing of the fan.

i recommend the Akasa PaxPower. I have the 460w version with the single blue 12cm fan. near as dammit silent (i believe they quote 14-18dB). Volts look very stable on all rails (tested only with PC monitoring software).
