    PSU and 6-pin AUX

    Hello,

I have just bought the 480w butterfly from thermaltake.
Looks good, but my mobo needs the 6-pin AUX connector, which psu doesn't have!!! Damn!!!!

Anyway, i boot up...but really, am i taking the risk to underpower the mobo?
    This connector...What is it for??

    My mobo is GA-8IHXP....titanP-533

    Thank you

It's Aux power. You don't have to have it but it's a good idea to use it if possible. The motherboard manufacturers put it there so I have to assume it's better to use a PSU which has the connector than one that does not. TT is not that great on PSUs although I like their fans and some of their cases.
