    Budget Build Advice

    Hello.
I'm looking to build a cheap PC, coming in around £150 to £200.
    Needed:
    CPU
    Motherboard
    Integrated GPU
    RAM
    p.s. not for gaming
    thanks

I presume you want Windows on that? That stuffs any chance of self build, given a Windows licence is half your budget.

Honestly, at that price unless you have some parts to re-use you are probably best off getting pre-built, and frankly probably best second hand.

Edit: Trying to go really cheap...

    Motherboard: £42 http://amazon.co.uk/ASROCK-A320M-HDV...dp/B07MNSP7PB/
    APU: £47 http://amazon.co.uk/AMD-Athlon-Proce...dp/B0815JGFQ8/
    psu: £35 https://www.amazon.co.uk/Corsair-VS4...dp/B078Y44N73/
    4GB DDR4: £16 http://amazon.co.uk/Crucial-PC4-1920...dp/B019FRDFU0/
    Case: £29 https://www.amazon.co.uk/ionz-M-ATX-...dp/B07ZVVR9WH/
    SSD: £25 https://www.amazon.co.uk/Kingston-SA...dp/B01N5IB20Q/

So that's £195 for a basic PC system box with no operating system. Being AM4 this would have a nice upgrade path for the future (another RAM stick, GPU, 3700X CPU is still only 64W so should be fine even on a low end motherboard like this).

Note I haven't checked the motherboard validation list to make sure the ram is on there.

What is the build for? A used 3/4 gen office PC for less than £100 might work?

I'm not sure 3rd gen ryzens run on 320 chipsets(?)

All down to the BIOS, but I believe the 3000g is really 1st gen apu silicon.
That board claims to be compatible with the 3950X. Not that I would use anything over 65W on a board like that
