    Looking to change monitor

I am running an Hercules 9800SE All-in-Wonder on an AMD Athlon 2100XP.
I currently have a 19" Samsung SyncMaster 957DF but am thinking of changing to a flat screen.

Not much money and was thinking of a 19" Acer AL1914MS (just over £200).

    Is this a respectable monitor?

I don't know much about the Acer; but I have this

£226 on special offer atm.. I paid £240ish for it about a month ago.
Its an amazing monitor 12ms response too. Only negative thing I guess is that it only has a D-SUB, but I don't notice the difference.
We cannot choose what we are.. but what are we but the sum of our choices?

    Mny thnx Starburn.

Must confess I notice I posted this on wrong channel
Looking at the graphices channel of the forum I note they mention the LG as a good monitor. I will keep reading, but your input has been very useful.

£200 is a bit cheap for a 19", sounds a bit dogy, i may be wrong but i would be paying £300 for a good 19", also there is not much point of a 19" over a 17" as they both display at the same resolution and so can show the some amount of stuff. A 17" tft is the sames as a 19" CRT

Acer are ok untill something goes worng then your screwed, you can only get a replacment within 5 days of purchase then after that its a repair that can take weeks, just getting through to em on the phone can take a hour as well :/
