    Unusal Network/Folder Activity!!!

I've noticed that I can see an external hard drive which was shared on a networked PC after it has been physically removed!!

I'm looking at a PC on my network from another PC. I have one external USB drive connected to the PC I'm looking at. I previously had two different external USB drives attached to that PC but they are now disconnected.

However, I can still see the disconnected drive letters. When I click on them, the folders shows contents of the currently connected external drive.

    Hope this makes sense.

    Any thoughts?

Probably data held that has been cached by your system.

Restart the machine and try again as I reckon the cache will have cleared and you shouldn't be able to access it

I've tried that, but with no luck.

    Any other solutions out there?

    Thanks
