    suggest a keyboard

OK, i've got my brushed aluminium speakers to complement my LG 1710B TFT.

But now my Blue/Beige M$ Multimedia Keyboard looks like crap!

I'm looking for a cord/cordless keyboard - would prefer black or/and silver with multimedia buttons & PS2 rather than USB connections.

    Any suggestions?

PS I already have a logitech MX700 Mouse

in which case get a logitech internet navigator SE. ive got the corded version. comes with a PS2 to USB adaptor (usb as standard) so u dont have to worry about that.

its very sexy, black and silver, same make as ur mouse, and only costs £25 from www.dabs.com

ive got it myself and is worth every penny. meets ur criteria exactly

    erm dont get plastic crap!
coolermaster q keyboard i alu and looks/is much nicer

why get an OVERSIZED keyboard with useless multimedia keys id prefer a £3 cheap beige kb to the ms one tbh, atleast it would fit nicely on my desk.

the size of m$ keyboards overcompensate for where there lacking

yeh, like the look of all these but have used the logitech & liked the feel of them.

I notice that the coolermaster has the following spec:-

Notebook Computer styled flat-key layout ( Spring-equipped short keystroke mechanism )

so i don't think I like the idea of the short keystrokes - not for me really

Ive also got the Logitech Internet Navigator SE and its great really recommend it. But another one you could possibly look at is the black Cherry CyBo@rd I used to have this before the logitech and it was very good, felt strong and not flimsy like some and it had a satisfying clunk when you tapped the keys, if you get me

will look into the cherry ones too. Seem to remember a few years back that cherry keyboards were the ones to go for.

I wish the coolermaster had multimedia - i really like the colour combo.

Pity aria don't do a keyboard to match the skyhawk/arianet aluminium speakers.

I've got the Cherry Cybo@rd in Black and silver and I must say that I love it. Very good solid feel to the keys and a decent number of multimedia buttons.

id say it depends on the keyboard layout your looking for.... standard or the newer styles. alot of keyboards are having alot of key placement changes.. which imo i dont like.

smaller keys or larger taller keys?

i myself have the older microsoft internet keyboard
    http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/mo...s.aspx?pid=021

most keyboards around today have changed the standard layout of

    ins | home | pgup
    del | end | pgdn

i uses these :/ so the microsoft one is perfect for me.

if your a gamer id look for a keyboard with good responce to soft touch and as many quickly asscesable keys as possible.

    smaller keys are nicer.
the layout of the cm is acctually better imo once ur used to it.
ms/logitech keyboards are fileld with gay crap none ever uses (apart from some weird ppl on these forums)
shortcut keys are useless, 1st there in the wrong place, and they can only be used for opening apps etc.. not bound in games so its a it stupid really.... wtf do u think the mouse is for...

this alu keuboard is very nice get it from simply i htink for £30. i got 2 of em. (this was cheaper inc postage of all the stores on hexus shop list btw)

the shape of ms/logitech keyboards is very ofputing for me, looks like a child designed it.
