Plz help me choose a 92mm fan for my thermalright XP-90 cooler

As the subject header states, I need to know what fan to get for my cooler. I have read that the panaflo and the sunon fans are best, but they don't seem to be sold in Britain it seems, or none that I can find, so please help me out on this one. I have my eyes on a Vantec 92mm fan, but other recommendations are welcome

    Thank You

SilenX are the quietest, but fitting them to the XP-90 may be more difficult (check what form the latest models have, they keep changing them). I think Kustom PCs sell them.

i have a 14dbs silenx on my SI-97 and it works great. i bought the fan about a year and a half ago though, so perhaps the design has changed since then. i wouldnt bother with the vantec, i had one and didnt think much of it.
have a look at www.whispertec.com for the luxotop range too, these seem very good.

Vantec Stealth's and Sunons are really pretty noisy. SilenX fans are quiet but they're also VERY expensive and work no better, if slightly worse than a revved down papst or panaflo. I recommend a L1A panaflo as they're very good performers.

I installed one on my XP90 this morning, its got the same fittings as any normal 92mm fan and went right on
Oh, and its MUCH better than the ACRyan fan ive just taken off it, which was pretty noisey. Im pleased with it, would recomend it

Another vote for the Panaflo 92L1BX 92mm fan from http://www.dorothybradbury.co.uk/ for the Thermalright XP-90. I'm actually using this combination in my rig and it works well.

cheers for the replies, in the end i decided to go for the YS-Tech fan found at www.overclockers.co.uk for the meantime. The panaflo 92mm will not be in stock at www.dorothybradbury.co.uk until May, as it says on the website. hopefully I made the right choice. now for some overclocking.....

By the way Taz, your system is very similar to mine lol. Gotta love that monitor eh? so shweeeet! I have the same board, and similar ram( Corsair 1024 4400 C25) and my 3500+ is apparently a Fx53 toned down, with a L2 cache of 512 instead of the supposedly 1mb. hoping to hit round 2.7-2.8 GHz
