Question Upgraded HP Gen 8 Price Check

Hi Folks, Now that I have a new home HTPC, I have a Gen 8 surplus. I am just looking for an idea of how much it is worth before I put it up for sale? I have upgraded the ram, CPU, and added a low profile GPU. It also has a Windows 10 Pro license.

Re: Upgraded HP Gen 8 Price Check

As a PC up to £200, refurbished PCs have become a big market and specification wise tend to come out quite well these days E.G https://www.amazon.co.uk/HP-i5-3470-...dp/B071YNPF12/ what yours does have is a dedicated GPU.

However as a microserver the Gen 8 seems to hold its value and are currently listed upto £300 on ebay depending on the specifications E.G https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HP-Prolia...oAAOSwmVxepCt7 currently at £210 with 2 hours left to go, might be worth you keeping a eye on.

Re: Upgraded HP Gen 8 Price Check

Going by the sold listings on eBay I would think between £250 and £350. My approach would probably be to see how much the specific models of 4, 6 and 8TB hard drives you have would sell for separately and base my choice off of that. Would you make more money selling one or all of them individually - depending on how many you want to sell of course - and selling the computer separately? Also, do you have the original CPU? You could swap it back in if so and sell the i5 separately (£20 or so). Prices are bit all over the place but some Celeron Gen 8's have sold for more than equivalent spec Gen 8's with Xeons strangely.
