PCs are now synonymous with home entertainment. Not only that, but a nice small form factor model won't look out of place in your living room. We're seeing more and more products hit the market aimed at getting PCs into the living room. A Scottish company from the name of beblu has just announced its new products, catering for... you guessed it, home entertainment PCs.Very much like a decent hi-fi system, a beblu system consists of various modules which can be stacked one on top of the other, next to each other, or however you want. This allows expandability and of course you don't have more hardware than you need. Many features in the beblu product range are unique to the market. These include a touch sensitive power switch with a subtle activity indicator ring that shows the power state and hard drive activity.
The innovative integrated IR receiver and backlit character LCD is supported by leading software such as Microsoft Media Centre, Girder and LIRC. Also unique is the use of modern materials such as thermal conductive pads to maximise the heat dissipation and reduce noise sources such as hard drive vibration.
