    Whoop....new computer parts :)

    Hi all.
Today i am a very happy chappie.

I have just got my new system installed, after getting the case and power supply yesterday

    System:
    lian-li PC-60
    Abit NF7-S (v2.0)
Athlon xp1700 DLTC (the 1.6v tbred)
    Gainward geforce 4 ti4200
Maxtor 40gb (the only lacking bit of the comp...)
    2x256mb DDR (has gone to 200fsb )
Levicom 450watt PSU (Damn thats heavy, top notch german build...just like a merc.)

    Thanks about it

The thing i was really impressed with was the case+power supply, from moving up from a £30 case with 300watt psu (undervolting the CPU by about 0.05v's.) This is such an improvement it is incredible...it is really worth the £114ish it cost.

The system (in my old case) was about 50 constant.
Now the highest is 34!! This is in the PC-60, Evercool low noise fan (instead of Thermal take standard on Volcano 7+) 4x ADDA fans (22cfm/26db reported..) Dual PSU fans.

Fan control on the case+power supply. I just love this case...it is even quiter than the old one whoop.

It rocks, would recommend to anyone!

    Will

Good to see that you're happy with it, now when are you going to start overclocking it?

Good kit mate, I have the Abit and a Barton 2500. Mine can do 2.4 easily on SLK8 air cooling.

Let us know what your TB is capable of...if you decide to OK that is!

Did some ultra quick ocing. just raised the fsb to 166x11.5. 1.971ghz and 333mhz on the ram.

When i went to 180 the ram went to 360, and at 190 the ram went to 316!! which was a bit odd.

    why?
