ASUS A8V dual channel ram problem

Hello Everyone,
I have got a problem with my motherboard in that it wont boot with dual channel ram after i have upgraded form XP pro student to XP pro standard.

Have you got the latest BIOS on?

System specs listed might help the matter, what you have done to resolve the issue and what config its in at the moment

Im now about to update my bios.
My important specs are:
ASUS A8V Deluxe 939 AGP,
Patriot 1GB (512mb*2) LLK 2-3-2-5 DC kit,
AMD 64 939 3000+

Currently i have just one of the sticks of ram in as it is the only way it will boot. I have tried resetting my BIOS and my CMOS but it has made no difference.

Hey everyone!
I updated my bios and it has solved the problem! both sticks are working fine now!
