Which is the best graphics card for video editing?

I am learning advanced skills in animations so I need to upgrade my graphic card.
There are several graphics cards available in the market or online. You can also use them for graphic design, video editing purposes, making of animations( 2d, 3d Animation and they’ll work faster than your integrated graphics card.

Here are a few graphics cards, according to me these are best in the market right now

    1. Zotac Nvidia GT 1030 With Nvidia Pascal Architecture GT 1030 is one of the best graphics cards under budget. It has 2GB DDR5 memory with a custom-designed fan cooler.

    Zotac GeForce GT 730
GT 730 comes with accelerated hardware and is powered with Blu-Ray 3D pack.

    MSI AMD Radeon
Its' low profile design saves more space and users can build a slim or smaller system easier

Still, confused which is better? Please suggest me best one for all editing tasks

Re: Which is the best graphics card for video editing?

I would assume the GT 1030 will be the best, definitely miles better than the GT 730. You haven't named a specific model for the AMD option, I'd assume if low profile it's an RX550 or worse.

If it has to be a budget low profile card, the GT 1030 is a good choice. If it doesn't need to be low profile, then you can look at second hand GTX970 or RX570 / RX480 / RX40 - all of which should be around the £75-90 mark.

Be aware the GT1030 doesn't need additional power connectors, whereas the GTX970 /RX570 /RX480 etc will need 1 of 2 PCI-E power cables from your power supply to run them.

You need to be more specific as to what you are using software wise, as some will prefer one card over another.

You need to list the software you are using!

RX550 > 1030. Hard to find, but if you can get one for 1030 money then it's a slightly better buy
