There should be a BIOS flash button if you haven't updated to the latest BIOS:

Had to go opening my big mouth didn't I
But I do use cards older than that when testing builds, so am surprised you are seeing this problem.
The fact the BIOS can display a message saying it can't use the display is pretty annoying. But then that's BIOS programmers for you, like the old "No keyboard detected, press F1 to continue" screen that's funny the first time you see it.
Have you tried mashing the "del" key on bootup to see if you actually end up in the BIOS? It could be some compatibility mode thing that needs enabling.
Don't suppose you can borrow another video card from someone?
Ok that’s interesting. I thought I might’ve needed the monitor to update the motherboard BIOS. So I assume I should try updating the motherboard BIOS first?
_______________
Haha yep, we all blame you. Hopefully we’ll solve this minor issue soon.
At the bottom it says “press any key to shut down” but that doesn’t work, so that got me thinking, it may be the keyboard not working. But I just tried another 2 USB keyboard and smashing the delete keys don’t get me into the BIOS on any
I have an old GPU to try in a box somewhere, so will see if that does anything. It’s a HIS (ATI) 5770
Edit// Obviously that card didn’t work either as it’s a 10 year old one.
On the bright side all the parts look nice inside my case.... just a shame I can’t use them yet haha. They’re teasing me
Should I flash update the motherboard BIOS now with no monitor or wait for EVGA support to reply regarding my graphics card and try that first?. BIOS updates make me nervous

So I got a reply from EVGA. Turns out only the team in Asia can help me with that sort of thing apparently.... but they’re on a 2 week break due to Chinese New Year . They said to contact them again at the end of the month, what a joke.
You literally can’t make it up ffs. The card I’m trying to use is the newest one I own so I don’t have a single other one that will work.
Been going without a computer for the past few days so I’ll put my old system back together now until EVGA can help me. Even then, if they can’t help or the card gets bricked with the update then I have no choice but to buy a new card
I tried my old ATI (HIS) 5770 and got the same message. I have one other basic Dell card in a 20 year old PC and that’s it
Damn, one of my standard test cards is an old ATI HD4670 because it doesn't require power connections so I would have expected that to be fine.
A motherboard BIOS update sounds worth a try still given that shouldn't even need a working CPU if it has a BIOS flashback button.
Edit: Been googling around for this. If you are feeling brave, and probably if you have access to another PC to do the BIOS update in, is this your card? ...

Further edit: Just checked the start of thread, and yours is a 3GB card. Oh well, shows such things exist.
Other motherboards seemed to show errors along the lines of "No GOP found, enabling CSM support" which seem much more friendly.
I would try the BIOS flashback too.
A little update - EVGA has multiple ways of contact. I initially contacted the Europe team and that’s where I got the first email reply
I got bored of waiting for a reply from the EU team so sent a message to the main headquarters team this morning in the US as well. Omg I should’ve just done that first as they just got back to me (same day reply) with the BIOS file I need and around 5 simple instructions on how to install it
I’ll be attempting the update tomorrow when I’m home from work, pray for me . I’ll try this first and then the motherboard BIOS is second on my list if it doesn’t fix it
Okay so the GPU BIOS update seems to have worked but for some reason the PC just boots straight into the motherboard BIOS instead of into windows.
All the drives are visible under ‘storage’ in the BIOS so are connected ok I assume. Ps. These are my old drives that I haven’t touched and I have windows 10 installed on one. I haven’t bought the new NVMe yet
Is there something I have to do to get into Windows?

I think it’s something to do with ‘UEFI’ again as it says UEFI Hardrive as boot option 1
I’ve done the BIOS update on my GPU so it now works with UEFI but I assume my older hardrive don’t?
UEFI is popping up a lot so I’m going to research what it is
Edit//
I’m not very experienced when it comes to BIOS. But when I Ctrl+F search for ‘Boot’ not many options come up. I think I need to enable ‘Legacy boot’ as I don’t have UEFI Drives/UEFI Windows 10. When I search for ‘Legacy’ no results are found in the BIOS
Double EDIT// - I think I fixed it. I found some setting eventually and switched it to CSM instead I’d UEFI and it booted into Windows fine. Seems faster already! Next step is to get an NVMe soon to unlock the full potential

You need to also set the RAM to DOCP/XMP as its only running at 2666MHZ according to the screenshot!
Yeah I noticed that that’s on my todo list for tomorrow or the weekend. I’ll use that video you sent a few messages back
So glad to get it working
