Wacom graphite cover.

My lad had bought himself a Wacom ctl672 graphics drawing tablet and is looking for a graphite cover to prevent the surface of the tablet from becoming marked and scratched up.

The only one I could find was on ebay which arrived from China poorly packaged, bend and unusable.

Would anyone be able to help in knowing where to source one or even an idea to make a home made cover which will work?
