Drought hits Taiwan and its fabs

Looks like water supplies are critical for Taiwan's fabs due to a drought:

This is going to start having effects on semi-conductors supplies worldwide. AMD and Apple are very dependent on the TSMC fabs in Taiwan!

This is on top of the freak weather in Texas, causing the shutdown of the Samsung 14NM fab and NXP Semiconductors and Infineon Semiconductors:

I wonder if this will affect supplies of the Samsung made GPUs in the GTX1050TI and GT1030??

I may moan a lot every day about not having a new GPU but at least I have water... sometimes you forget how lucky you are

"Both Vanguard International Semiconductor Corporation and United Microelectronics Corp signed contracts with water trucks and said there was no impact on production."

Hopefully there will be no impact on production, last thing we need during an incredibly high demand is halted production.
