Looking at upgrading the wife's aging Dell 3010 SFF for a NUC. I've seen the Intel Hades Canyon (the ones with the AMD Vega M graphics) are £630 on Ebuyer, which is very tempting as it offer superb port selection, possibility of a mobile gaming PC, and very compact form factor for a reasonable £630 + RAM + SSD
However if I'm honest it's probably over-specified for her needs. What I'd like to see the system have is:
4 core / 8 threads ideally, will consider 4 cores / 4 threads
16GB RAM
500GB NVME SSD
Decent USB port selection - I think she has 7 devices altogether - Mouse, keyboard, safety line to power adapter, printer, webcam, speakers (USB powered), headphones, + spare for a USB stick (so 8 minimum ideally, 6 being on the back)
HDMI 2.0 output (she runs a 4K 60hz display)
Would be interested in suggestions that meet those requirements, ideally looking to spend £300-400, but will consider outside that.
