Looking for keyboard and mouse to complement my first build

Sorry to raise this thread from the dead but any suggestions for a relatively cheap mouse/keyboard combo with subtle RGB perhaps and would be good for Cold War/Warzone?

Re: Looking for keyboard and mouse to complement my first build

I'm quite picky with my mice, as I have relatively small hands. For someone 10+ years old I'd highly recommend you look at the Glorious Gaming Model O- (O minus), or the Razer Viper Mini.

I had the Gaming Model O- at home and the internal cables physically snapped at a stress point (due to material fatigue). But I really enjoyed the mouse. When looking for a replacement I came across this:

    https://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/gaming...09882-pdt.html

This is almost an exact copy of the larger Gaming Model O (non-minus). There are some minor differences - RGB placement, mouse casing joint lines. But the overall shape and design is virtually identical to the Model O. I don't know what sensor it uses, but as someone who plays FPS on a 165Hz monitor and has had experience with the official Model O mice, I can tell you this feels just as responsive as the Model O, and is very comfortable. I even prfer the scroll wheel on the ADX M0620. I'm currently switching between a Gaming Model O- (at work) to the ADX M6020 at home, which is is basically the same mouse at a slightly larger size. As such the O- now feels quite small at work, but I can adapt to either and find both comfortable.

I'd recommend looking at some sizing guides - Rocket Jump Ninja on YT is a good start, Optimum Tech also has some nice videos for Gaming Mice. Personally my hand is 17.5cm long x 10cm wide (short and relatively wide). So I look for mice on the smaller end of the spectrum.

For £30 the ADX M6020 (more suited for hands upto 19.5cm long) or Razer Viper Mini (for smaller hands) will serve you well. For other options look at Rocket Jump Ninja's YT channel.

Are you looking for mechanical or is that not an issue? I've been using the HyperX stuff, no RGB just red lighting on my ones (but I think the new ones have RGB). The mice I think are very cheap considering the quality of the components. The keyboards are a bit more pricey but solidly built imo.

I went with a Pulsefire fps mouse and Alloy FPS pro keyboard.

I'm using a Roccat Kone Pure (wired) and Corsair Strafe for warzone and am pretty happy with them, both got 'subtle' rgb

Have you had a look at Oversteel? I picked up a mouse, keyboard and headset all for under £50. Keep an eye on Amazon warehouse, they seem to go for almost half their normal selling price. Very happy with them too.

They're cheapish but the Razer Basilisk X Hyperspeed is a fantastic mouse, maybe a little on the light side though if you play weighted FPS
