Easy way to clean a keyboard?

I looked at Scan's today only page and saw their Unotron Keyboards claims that you can wash it under the tap. Looks awfully expensive though.

Possible to do the same with my logitech cordless keyboard? Or any other easy way to clean normal keyboards?

I have disassembled a keyboard before (spilt beer on it), you end up with the pcb on the end of the lead, then I washed it in warm soapy water and hosed it clean. That is the only way i would put water near any keyboard. With wireless I guess the pcb is removable but I have not been tempted to do this (or spilt beer on) with my logitech cordless.

Chop down some credit card type plastic preferably an old one, wrap a bit of jcloth round it, dip it in some grime busting cleaning product and use it to scrub the filth off the edges and top of the keys. It's pretty easy however I think what you're after is a quick fix which this isn't.

If its a cheapo keyboard I will disassemble it, but logitech keyboards are ££££££ so that will be a no go.

If you still have the box, the keys just pop out with a bit of force, well, on an MS keyboard anyway. So i just pull out all the keys, wash them in hot soapy water, while I clean underneath the keys with a damp cloth. The box is so you know how they go back in
