Recommendations for a wireless keyboard & mouse

My PC currently lives behind the TV (as I couldn’t get a case to fit into my cabinet) - it’s a bit of a faff to turn it on and my current el-cheapo keyboard/mouse often lose connection and don’t seem to be able to turn the PC on from standby so I'm looking for new kit.

Does anyone have suggestions for a good kb/mouse? I don’t want an inbuilt trackpad in the kb as I will do some gaming on it, also if it can turn the PC on from sleep/shutdown that’d be great but that might just be a setting I’m not seeing (?)

    Thanks!

Re: Recommendations for a wireless keyboard & mouse

I've got a Logitech K360 that I've had for around 5 years and use whenever I've got my PC hooked up to my TV. I've also got a Logitech MX Ergo trackball mouse, and I couldn't recommend it enough. I've been so happy switching to a trackball mouse: I find it really easy to use, so much more comfortable, so much more precise, and I can still game with it - I think - as well as I could with my previous optical mouse. One of the huge plus points for me is that because it doesn't rely on movement over a surface for mouse movement, you can use it anywhere, even a thin armchair armrest. I use it both at my desk and on the sofa, and it is perfect. The keyboard works well, has never had much of an issue apart from being a bit finnicky about needing almost line of sight to the receiver, and both work with a since Logitech universal receiver USB.
