Unhappy Help RMA with these speakers.

Hi guys. I want to send these speakers w/one sub back because of a weird noise problem. I want a new pair of them and I was wondering. Do I need the box they came in? Because I dont have it! Do you think shops except new boxes or what not? This is gona be my first RMA.

    Thanks for your help.

I had the same problem with some creatives 5200's i brought for a mate.
Was a RMA to Ebuyer, they didnt care, and even paid for postage back to them as they were heavy

I had a faulty sub for my 6700s recently. I emailed the company who I bought it from (Simply) for details of their returns process, but didn't get a reply for about 4 or 5 days.

In the meantime, I emailed Creative, who asked for proof of purchase then couriered a brand new sub out to me within a couple of days - no questions asked.

Moral: It might be less hassle to contact the manufacturer and have them send you out the appropriate bits under the warranty.

    cheers,
    dave

Sorry, forgot to mention that... no I didn't. They just sent me a new sub and said I can do what I wanted with the faulty one.

A lot less hassle than sending the entire package back to where I got it from, wouldn't you agree?

    cheers,
    dave
