    KVM advice

    Hi Folks,
On my desk I have 3 macbook pros and a desktop PC, along with a 49" ultrawide monitor and a bunch of external keyboards/mice. It's a real pain to have to keep changing cables around as the monitor only has 3 inputs.

Can anyone recommend a good KVM. I can live with having to change the display settings myself if needs, be, but the keyboard/mouse thing is a major PITA.

    Anyone have a recommendation?

I use various KCEVE products sourced via amazon. Petite, metal chassis, seem well made and holding up well so far. The KCEVE 4-way switch I got will handle audio and KM simultaneously with the V switching. I actually opted for a slightly more complicated arrangement (separate switches for each screen, and separate mini switches for each peripheral) , but that is me being a bit fussy. I don't bother with the remote but it's nice to have the option if needed.

there is also this one by a different brand that does 8-way switching

Cool. I've ordered one from Amazon - if it doesn't work I can always send it back.

    Thanks....

    Re: KVM advice

Mike's unboxing reviewed a unit today, he's a nice guy and I trust his views for the most part. He's done reviews on PC stuff for a long time at this point, always reviewing budget orientated products.
