Is it not me but unless you are a server with a big need for processing power, Intels design of these dual core chips is fundementally bottlenecked?, meaning a dual core CPU as a dual core System will give you no advantage in games at all....

With the current design, I think you're right.... I believe it's one of the main differences between the two architectures.
You are absolutely right. Dualcores are for crunching, not gaming. That's the funny part about Dell using the 840 in it's XPS gaming box. What a complete waste. Dell should market it as a serious workstation, not a gamer.Quote:
