sk43g and athlon xp2500?

hi there

im buzy building an sk43g for my bro in law but when ive put it all together and powered it up ive got no display and just the fans run,im not quite sure whats wrong but i cant get any picture watsoever and hardrive light stays on constantly.
i noticed whilst looking through the manual for the board that theres no mention of there being any support for xp2500 processor (however xp2600/2700/2800 are supported) does any1 know if i can use this xp2500 with this system please?
ive also tried booting with onboard vga but still i get no screen and just constant fans however once the shuttle is turned off my monitor clicks on?

i also tried booting with the 9800pro which is also going into the machine but still i get no screen and i was wondering if this has any bearing on the xp2500 not getting a mention in the manual?

the components of the system are as follows:

shuttle sk43g
athlon xp2500
512mb twinmos ddr400
radeon 9800pro
maxtor 80gb hd
lg dvd/rw

any 1 got any ideas why ive got no screen when its turned on please?

hmm , basic idea... but try a different stick of ram, i have had similar problems with carp ram. worth a try if you have some spare ?


edit : if 2700 & 2800 's are supported i cant see why 2500+ isnt it is a barton all the same (i think :p )

hey thanx for the info dude,it was the ram after all,it just didnt like the bank it was situated in i put into the other slot and it was fine.
