New to shuttles, so be nice

Wanted to get this shuttle, cause i like its look, but what you guys think about it ???

I like the orange colour but you have to get it in green if you want AMD. Was wondering if it would be possible to just get the case without the mobo, chip, RAM etc ???

This is going in my bros lounge as a PVR. So it has to look gd, and fit in with all his other hifi stuff. A shuttle just wont look gd with all the other stuff. Whats more, dad is paying so everyones happy (dad knows nout)

Sorry but the MSI Mega PC is no more of a "dvd playing, tv recording, music pumping PVR" than a shuttle or any other SFF really. Honestly all it is is a Shuttle with a really cheap (and I mean worse than a £50 ALBA stereo from Dixons) fascia that is so just so flimsey. If you want something that looks good and plays CDs and DVDs without loading windows (it has a special BIOS) then buy a Biostar iDeq

If playing DVDs etc from the BIOS isn't your thing then buy a shuttle

Agreed, go for the Biostar Ideq if you want DVD/MP3/CD playing from BIOS.

If not go for a Shuttle.
