Well GeCube's Radeon X850 XT Uniwise [review] does the job with one slot cooling, although I haven't seen its cooling solution available separately.
My 6800GT runs at about 75 under load, not sure what's a reasonable temp for an X800 XT PE.

i think that temp is not overly high for an x800xt
mines sits at 60 at full load :s
check the fan is working right and the heatsink has contact with the core.
Yep its working right, the heat is from the volt boost to get it to XT PE
