Not with my limited experience. I have a 7200.7 and its noticably noisier than my 2 samsungs. Also spends more time ticking around and seeking for no reason whereas the samsung only does as its told
Barracuda's are fairly quiet (I have 4 in RAID and can't hear them unless I'm thrashing them to pieces.) However, Samsung's are quieter still.Quote:
