Upgrading to 1gb pc3200

Hi guys.

I am currently running 512 (2*256mb) pc2700 samsung. But since briefly putting an extra 256mb in an seeing the difference i want to upgrade to 1gb (2x512mb) of pc3200. I am looking only at Komplett becuase i am ordering some speakers for various people, so that will cover my postage costs , and they seem to have some quite barginous RAM. I dont want to spend over £100.

Current system:
Abit NF7-S (v2.0)
radoen 9700 pro
xp1600-m
512mb pc2700 (to be replaced)

Questions:
1) Maybe upgrading to A64 in the summer, i dont want to have to change my RAM for that, will these all be ok with A64? and is pc3200 the best RAM to run sync'ed with A64 chips?

2) Is the corsair worth the £30 premium for tighter latencies? Will they allow further ocing at slack latencies?

3) Which would you go for?

*plug first* i'm selling a gig of OCZ ddr 3200 ram that would do the job (2x512), see the FS section if your interested (its in the post with a title cpu/gfc/cooler by me)

I've no idea about the A64, and with regard to the corsair, its not worth the extra for the tighter latencies, its worth it for the fact that its corsair ram, its going to be high quality and should overclock nicely - or at least perform better than the twinmos. Its the same for brands like geil and OCZ - your partly paying for the name and the guarentee of quality

So anyway i think you should buy my ram but if you wanted new then get the corsair off that list, though I would look at www.crucial.com/uk - free shipping and a lifetime guarentee

just get the BH5. It really is a super price for it and would allow stupid amounts of clocking.

BH5 is known to clock very highly, so you can most probably try it out and sell it on (via the bay of fleas) if you are not too keen for the same price.

BH5 is one of the best, however as you are getting A64, tighter timings are what you want... so its what goes best with the cpu!

EDIT : Matched pair makes no real difference, if you are hoping to overclock, twinmos or corsair, me id go for the BH5 looks bargaintastic to me!

PS. Forgot to add, that as the man said on one of the reviews, BH5 needs a huluva lot to get high clocks, but can run relatively tight timings, so u'd invalidate the warranty through that. The TCCD clock high, and dont use many volts, but those are out of ur price range!
As Spud1 said you are partly paying for the name on corsair, just see what you want to do > overclock (if you are not going to overclock the most basic ram will do!), or stability

EDIT: Looking at your PC specs, the BH5 will prob be best,a s it will hold its value more, and will run @ stock with no problems. For that system i would say the corsair will not add anything over the BH5! If you want to save a few quid, the cheaper TWINMOS will do you, but he BH5 may do you good in the future?
