    I don't think I'll be buying either, I prefer much cheaper CPUs - but I think it would be cool to see some PCs in shops that look as good as the G5 - somehow I doubt compaq/hp will do the AMD-64 justice though...

    Same here, to be honest - the equipment I use now is completely fine, but when everyone else in the world has them, and they're coming down in price - I'll consider an upgrade

    Don't mean to be pedantic but Dell only use Intel chips

    But there’s no way im going to be going out and buying it yet, as said by Platinum im gonna wait a bit until the technology has matured a bit

    I came soooo close to ordering one with the motherboard (everything in the shopping basket about to press enter...)

    Just decided to cancel it and stick with what i got.

    I am certainly gonna do it but I always resist being first on the block - gonna wait untill they drop in price a wee bit.

    The whole point of overclocking for me is to buy a chip further down the range and clock it to equal or surpass that at the top end.
