    Smile Antec's new P180!

Kinda a bold move... But it looks interesting!

    The P180 features include:

    * Plastic / aluminum multi-layer panels for high acoustic damping (like Antec Aria)

    * Bottom placement of PSU in separate, isolated ducted chamber with 120mm fan in middle

    * Four HDD cage in the bottom ducted chamber in silicone rubber suspension mounts

    * Two 120mm fan exhaust vents in top chamber, one on top panel over CPU area

    * 120mm intake vent for top chamber in front of two drive bay with same silicone rubber mounts

    * Ducting system for VGA/CPU fresh air intake via vents next to the PCI slots on the back panel with up to two additional fans; this is not shown in the pic and also does not have to be used

    * 3-position speed switch for each of the 3~4 included quiet fans.

    * Front door hinges open 270 degrees to get out of the way

    * Front bezel has side vent slots all around for unrestricted airflow even with door closed

    * Extensive use of damping materials at panel contact points to reduce resonance / vibration noise

So thats 4 120mm fans! and space for 2 more fans!

Edit: P180 Product sheet, sorry but I had to take a screenshot of the PDF since I cant host it...

How do the intakes pull air in when the front door is closed?!

Hope a few reviews are about soon.

Hope the Hexus chaps see this

I can never afford these new cases. They always seem to be around the £100 mark plus you have the extra fans to buy if you need them.

Been wanting an Eclipse-62 for ages.

Not sure if I believe that will work as well as a vent in front of the fan...

I agree, however I am asuming the fans are slow rpm, and have filters... That alone should reduce there airflow considerably! So perhaps the vents will be able to keep up...

Ooooo, I want that case! Now just gotta convince myself it's worth the money (guessing it's over £100).

    *edit*
I can't find it listed in any online shops from the UK, not released yet?

Looks like a great case, but I prefer the Lian Li stuff. My personal favorite is the V-1000. All business!

Lian Li make very good quality cases, but I've not been impressed with their airflow in the past. The V-1000 looks better on that count (but what about dust?), but has no mainboard tray, no reset button, it looks ugly (IMO) and it's bloody expensive (around £140 here).

I read somewhere that it was to be released sometime in February
