screen freeze in games help

when playing games ie call of duty screen flicker's then freeze's this hapens about every 10 min, have to reset and restart game.
In other games screen flickers after 10 min for about 5 sec then plays as normal.
Have r-instal g/card & drivers same problem.

(Just switched back to crt with no problems, so tft seems to be the glitch)Has anyone got ideas to get over this flick & freeze problem with tft.
Just tryed ftf again same problem.

set up non overclock
3000+
dfi nf4 sli-d
asus n6600 gt
2-512 corsiar cmx
200 gb serial ata
flat pannel medion 17"

Could be other programs in the background interupting - have you closed other programs and disabled AV/firewall (if not playing online)?

Did your previously upgrade your GPU, it may be the old drivers.

It seems its tft problem crt monitor runs no screen freeze by the way problem in playing games only. can anyone help, will have return tft back to Aldi.

If you have vsync enabled, turn it off. If not turn it on .

wher do i find vsync, having trouble to locat in display

think its in direct x/open gl settings within display.

Right click on desktop>properties>settings>advanced>geforce 6600gt.

It's under "performance and quality settings".

Probably nothing to do with it but it's worth a go.

Tryed vsync on to of & refresh rate from 60 yo 75.

Just played conflict vietnam on both TFT & CRT same problem on each game jitters freezes for about 5sec then games ok 5min into game same thing again so not TFT(good i like this TFT) so must be G/Card.
Please any help would be appreciated.

Possibly a power issue - what make and wattage PSU do you have?

Hmm... pointing to the gfx then. You could try a different set of drivers - which are you using now?
