Anyone? My DR wont boot with the San Diego so i need to know if i can use the SLI-D bios
The different is that the DR have 4 more Sata. And they all use same bios, even with the Ultra IIRC.
is it the nF4 version?
If so the diffs are the R version has extra Sil3114 controller, FrontX and diag LEDs.
The SLI-D BIOS will probably work in an emergency, but it'd be a shame if you couldn't flash back to the DR version.
EDIT> The content descriptions & versions are the same for both versions' BIOS, but the ZIP files have different names/sizes.
The Diamond Flash Image file is exactly the same for both though!
So im safe to use the SLI-D bios?
If you have a boot floppy created by the 2005/03/10 Diamond Flash Image program, then yes.Quote:

There's a 99% chance there's no difference between the zip file versions, but unless it's genuinely impossible to download again, why take the chance?
Compare and / or download here:
LANPARTY nF4 SLI-DR
LANPARTY UT nF4 SLI-D
It won't flash, says the BIOS file size is wrong? :(
Which file did you download?Quote:

The DR will just have the SiI BIOS embedded in it. It may be that they use a larger capacity EEPROM on the DR, hence the "file size is wrong" error. Not sure, as I don't have either board.
