The different is that the DR have 4 more Sata. And they all use same bios, even with the Ultra IIRC.
    Primary kit:
    Fuji S5 Pro - Nikkor AF 50/1.8 - Nikkor AF 85/1.8
    Epson RD-1

    Film Kit:
    Leica M3 - Summicron 50/2 DR - Zeiss ZM 25/2.8 - M-Rokkor 40/2

    Olympus OM2n - Zuiko 50/2 Macro - Zuiko 50/1.4 - Zuiko 35/2.8

    is it the nF4 version?
If so the diffs are the R version has extra Sil3114 controller, FrontX and diag LEDs.

The SLI-D BIOS will probably work in an emergency, but it'd be a shame if you couldn't flash back to the DR version.

EDIT> The content descriptions & versions are the same for both versions' BIOS, but the ZIP files have different names/sizes.
The Diamond Flash Image file is exactly the same for both though!

If you have a boot floppy created by the 2005/03/10 Diamond Flash Image program, then yes.

But if you worked from the zip file, I wouldn't chance it. Just download the right version.
There's a 99% chance there's no difference between the zip file versions, but unless it's genuinely impossible to download again, why take the chance?

Compare and / or download here:

The DR will just have the SiI BIOS embedded in it. It may be that they use a larger capacity EEPROM on the DR, hence the "file size is wrong" error. Not sure, as I don't have either board.
