Can anyone ID this Router/modem for me plz?!

I think it may be a USR 9105... but I'm not sure, anyone know?

Whilst I'm here - anyone know where I can buy a USR 9105 cheap?

    Ah, finally found out it's a 9003.

    Anyone used one?

The 9105 is supposed to be the STABILITY KING! Does anyone know how the 9003 compares???

Slightly off-topic, but my Linksys WRT54GS has been running since February with several firmware updates and lots of tweaking. My previous Netgear died like weekly Stability is hardly an issue these days, i'd just stay away from Netgears with the problems I have encountered. I used a US Robotics router once at work, they are nice, bit nasty looking, but then so is my Linksys

Hmmm.. I seem to have 'issues' with connection stability, and I'm not the only one out there! Seems to be when there is a big load on the router/modem, such as with multiplayer games, downloading using p2p etc etc...
What do u do with your 'WRT54GS'?

Yeah someone told me it was the routing table filling up and that a reboot and latest firmware would fix it, did both, and within about a day it would begin happening and dropping every 10mins or so, usually sooner. Got fed up, called Netgear and got through to some Bangladesh call-centre, they helpfully led me through it but the same problem continued occuring, I got pants range on it too.

I do exactly the same as before on my Linksys as I did with my Netgear, just quicker Move files across, shared broadband connection, a little bit of LAN gaming every now and then I cant fault this router, I was so reluctant to buy another router because my first experience with networking in general was a bad one, but its great now, cant wait to get my laptop so I can sit in the garden and play some online game with catching some rays

The interface with the USRs was ok, not the best (still think Netgear wins there, although out of the major brands - Belkin, Netgear, Linksys, USR, D-Link etc. I havent used D-link so I cant comment there), but much the same as a Linksys, efficient once you get used to it. My sveasoft hacked firmware I use adds to the complexity of it all, but once you know your way around it is fine

Thanx, I've been highly recommended the USRobotics9105 by a man who know his stuff and it's exactly what I need in terms of price/quality/functionality.

Found it for £61.15 with next day delivery!
