    Another satisfied MSI customer here
I got a rev 1.0 MSI K8T Neo and after a BIOS update its been great.
I have purchased many Gigabyte boards before and they seemd to be absolute crap for quality but can be good overclockers (many were DOA, others dies after less than a year)

Yeah, MSI boards generally just run and run and run and run. The only board i have had last longer is a still running Gigabyte rambus board. I have really been disappointed with Asus tbh despite the hype.

ASUS boards are my personal favorite. They have been the most reliable and least quirky of all the boards I've used. MSI is a close second. MSI has a bit of an edge in overclocking compared to ASUS, but as a system builder I get far fewer complaints from customers about ASUS and MSI boards. Also, if you look at my sig you'll see that ASUS can be quite fast, even an old A8V Rev 1.2 AGP board.

I get the most complaints about Gigabyte. Not near as many as I used to get about ABit before I finally had to stop using them all together.

Did have an Asus A8V Deluxe, but had problems with it, so used an MSI Neo 2. Best motherboard I've seen so fa.

@storm: that's weird with gigabyte. I have always found them to be bullet proof. I've even got an old rambus 850 mobo from gigabyte that has worked for ages and ages without a single problem. In fact, the HD and GPU have failed, but not cpu/memory/mobo.
