    CPU Temperatures

Does this sound the norm to you guys?

    CPU : AMD Athlon64 3500+ (S939) 90nm Winchester Core

On boot up Asus Probe reckons the CPU is about 28 C
Normal windows operations (like now) has the CPU reaching 33/34
Heavy intensive stuff (Half Life 2 / WoW) has the CPU peaking at 40/42

    Akasa Evo-33 HSF.

Anyone else have this HSF, would be interested to see similar results.

those temps sound good, particularly if you have good case airflow. what you might not realise, is that the winchester cpus have a max theoretical thermal output of only 67W. an athlon XP 2400+ by comparison, has an output of 68W.
