    New my 3700 San Diego Premiminary results

    Got my san diego 3700 this morning, been having a little play, heres what ive produced so far



    forgot to add the cpu-z thingmabob, here it is

    I can almost get 2.8 with my 3200+. Give it some more voltage, make it work

    wow, thats a great score! Did you have to run the bios update to get it to work with your board??

    im gonna leave it at 2.8 for the time being. When i first put it in, my DFI wouldnt even boot at stock with the latest official bios, a quick flash the beta one fixed it though.

    After a few days ill go for the money shot (ghz), but i doubt ill make it (as usual )

    2.8 is nice since its effectively a £230 FX57 at that

    Much less on the memory scores, but my RAM is holding me back on that front.
    Everything is at stock at the moment though, as the machine is currently being used for crital work. Ill wack it back up somtime next week when ill be able to play again

    How did you get the bios to update when the machine wouldnt boot?

    it booted - but i had to give it 1.6v and put the HTT to 3 and the ram timings all high to get in there.

    its under a reserator - so that wont be a problem

    Seems to max out at 2850 - stable anyway, which i guess is FX57.5 Although im still getting to grips with the memory settings on this DFI board, im sure theres a few things in there i can change which will give it some extra welly.

    Ive heard good things about the DFI mobo!!!! I may change my mind now from the Asus to the DFi!
