Burning as in fire, or just stop working?
Sounds like to much current through the LED. Is it connected to a mobo header? sounds like it might be plugged into the wrong one.
Ading a 70ohm resistor in series should fix it but it shouldnt be needed for leds connected to mobo..
does it happen to power led aswell?
The front-panel is connected to the mobo with one connector, so you can't connect it wrong.
Is it possible that the connections on the led its self are switched? (+ -> -)
No, because it wouldn't light up if that was the case. It's a diode, current can only flow through it in one direction.
I Think I found it, It is the hard disk. When I disconnect one hd it works fine.
