KVM switch question

I want the input from my keyboard to be "captured" by 2 PC's at the same time. Will a 2 port KVM switch do this? Is there a way of splitting the PS2 connection for a keyboard into two?

I'm testing a new system and require realtime data entry to by entered at exactly the same time on independant machines.

Standard KVMs won't do that, but some of the more expensive ones will - ones with a "broadcast" feature.

I don't think you can just jerry rig connectors to feed one keyboard into 2 PCs. Although the signal lines are open collector, the data needs to synchronise with the clock signal, which comes from the PC. The 2 PCs' clock signals would be out of sync.
