    You think that's expensive? Wait until you see the pricetag for the X2's! The retail prices will be less but limited availability will cause gouging by retailers just like with the X800 XT PE and the 6800 Ultras.

    The most expnsive of those opterons (AMD Opteron 875 Dual-Core 2.2GHz) is over 2 and a 1/2 grand. You reckon that the speed will justify that price?

    Of course not. There for a small percentage of people. Any gamer should look at single core and the future FX-57.

    That is what you call OVERKILL.

    8 Dual Core Opteron 865(I may be wrong) with 32 sticks of 4GB DDR Memory making up 128GB of memory. They deserve that price tag.
