    SN85G4 V2 and Norton Ghost

I'm trying to back up my SN85G4 shuttle to a Network Drive using Norton Ghost 2003. The problem is, the drivers for the Ethernet controller are not built in to Ghost and I can't seem to find a DOS equivalent anywhere. The drivers are based off the nVidia chipset.

Has anyone got this to work? What did you do?

My old system used a RTL8139 which was built in and required nothing special.

Have you tried the nForce DOS NDIS drivers?

I have them about somewhere but there old (nForce 2 era) but I am sure I used them with my SN85G4 before I switched over to using WinPE for boot disks and images.

Update: I have just put the nForce DOS NDIS drivers on my website here.

Since there's only 1 PCI slot, I didn't really want to go he Add a NIC route and I was afraid a USB NIC would just create a USB driver problem.

I did try the DOS NDIS drivers, they just gave me a different error.

What I finally ended up doing is going with Partimage on a Knoppix CD as it does have a driver for the card.

Now I've just got to streamline the CD so I can put the CD in, reboot and it will automatically do the backup.
