Whats the difference between Epox 9NDA3+ and Epox 9NDA3J????!!

Checked out Komplett.co.uk for a 939 AGP board... caught attention of 2 relatively similar board... but very different pricing... Was wondering whats the difference between these 2 boards.

    Epox NForce3 9NDA3+
    Epox NForce3 9NDA3J

    How different is the performance?

Any comments will be very helpful

    Cheers!

Stops the agp/pci buses tracking the FSB when you overclock - it locks them at 66mhz and 33mhz regardless of the FSB.

ahh! my NF7 does that as well... altho I never knew what's that for... ehehe... so I guess 9NDA3J would be a better bang for the buck... or not? + retails for about 80 quids... while the J variant cost around 55 quids..

If you plan to overclock, get the locking one.

Are you sure? I'm pretty sure that all NForce3 250 boards have working PCI/AGP locks.

However this review reckons there are a couple of issues with the board:

I think that I'm with Rave on this one.
I've also had a quick look at the manual & it doesn't seem to differentiate between boards at that point in the BIOS (not to mention that AGP/PCI don't have multipliers they have frequencies).

The EPoX.com.tw pages doesn't mention that - what they mention is "Support Asynchronous clocking mode between FSB and DIMM" which makes more sense (& they both have it).
