get a xp2500 and save a little money...well thats what I think. eerr HD I think you should get the 8mb version performance difference is well worth the extra £8-£10. CD-RW/DVD I rather go with Samsung but thats just me.

Everything you listed is fine just you left out GPU. If you ain't a gamer I recommend the ATI 9200 120mb DVi does everything you need it to + fanless HS.

im going for quietness, and the shuttle has built in gfx, which will be fine for its purpose. Might downgrade the processor tho. I will have to go and find the cheapest place

m8 the SN45G doesn't have on-board GPU..you must be thinking about the SN41G2. Both are Nforce 2 but you need to know that the shuttle you listed bove doesn't have onboard graphics.

Yer this is TwinX stuff. No point getting it unless you are clocking it though, might as well get Crucial.

nice spec there but up the HDD to an 8MB cache one..

I would put a DVD-RW in there but that what i would do, as those DVD combo drives are really bad I had one in my SB61G got shot of it and replaced it with a Pioneer 106
