    New DVD-RW

    Hi,

    I think it is about time i upgraded to a new DVD-RW as i have a 4x a the moment and its a bit out of date.

    I was looking at

    Is this the best on to get?

    For the cash the current Pioneer (with latest firmware, older versions are buggy) or the NEC are very good buys.

    There both at the top of the mid-range set and if you don't want to splash out on say a Plextor will give you lots of good service. I have current NEC's in all my machines (bar server, thats a Plextor DVDRW) and am very happy with them all.
