I do. Provided both the case & hoover are properly earthed (including the nozzle) you should be safe.

You don't need to earth a plastic hoover nozzle. And to keep a PC earthed, turn the power off at the socket (or on the back of the PSU) and leave it plugged in.

If you are using a vacuum cleaner on your PC it's best to turn it off. Also be sure you have no loose jumpers or cables, or you may loose them.

It's best to have an attachment with a brush on the end of the nozzle.

Maybe I'm taking you up wrong here but just because the nozzle is plastic does not mean it couldnt deliver a lethal static charge to your computer.

Static electricity is a surface charge and it generally builds up when two nonconductive objects are rubbed together (ie hoover nozzle and carpet). If you hoovered your floor and then straightaway started hoovering inside your computer I would have thought that there was a good chance of damaging something.

Just turn off the power on the back of the PSU.

Yes it's safe as long as you have no loose wires or jumpers. You don't want to lose them in the vac.
