Shuttle with NCQ Seagate

Hi my Motherboard is SB61G2 v1. This Motherboard supports NCQ Seagate SATA ??

Hi Junior,

Just putting a question mark does not make it a question .

As for the SB61G2.

It is using an i865 chipset and I think it uses the chipsets own Intel SATA controller so there is no reason it wont support any SATA drive including the Seagate's.

That said the integrated SATA controller on the i865 controller does not support native command queuing not that it would make a huge difference to disk performance in the Shuttle and the 7200 RPM Seagate’s are plenty fast .
