    talk about sibling rivalry... but personally i feel 1MB cache would be a better companion for such a powerful athlon core. If I had the $$ then I would have drifted and hug a nice san diego... but then again, venice core chips are still great bang for the buck!

    Fx-57 or not, we've seen Hexus showing us how a 3000+ OC bested an FX-55.. I'm sure anything above that would probably do the same with adequate cooling... imagine venice 3800+ at 12x270HTT ... 'droooool'.... probably wouldn't even post.. ehehehe

    It bested an FX-55 that was not overclocked. The FX-55 (regardless of core) is the best overclocker AMD has released to date.

    not anymore, the FX-57 is out, or very close to.
